Life Update #1

1. Bridal Shower #1 with close friends and family happened last Saturday. It was Frozen themed. My Bridal Shower #2 is going to happen in 2 days. But #1 was great... although I realized I forgot to invite a few friends that I shouldn't have forgotten. Oops! Pictures? oKaY. Just keep reading and you'll get to see some pictures!

2. Had my last dress fitting a couple days ago and I AM IN LOVE with my dress. I'm sure I mentioned it before but it's custom made which I'm SO glad about! I'm real picky. One of my bridesmaids' mom is a seamstress so she's making my dress + veil!

3. Daniel officially moved in. We're staying in the spare room of my house for now until I'm able to find a stable job. That way, we can save more and move into a nice area (like Yorba Linda, heh) instead of finding a place where we live now (we don't like this area at all). So now I'm sitting on his computer chair at his computer desk (12 days until it'll be mine too!) working on some projects while he sleeps... then I'm off to my bed next door when I get sleepy!

Half of the hostesses of the shower - my cousin and sister!
My reaction when I first stepped out and saw all the decorations!

Snapped a quick picture!

Engagement Photoshoot

Got some previews from my engagement shoot Saturday night in Utah!
I want to share the experience with you guys buuuut I just got back from a loooong car ride home and now I have an 8 page paper to write. It's a pretty funny experience though but you'll get to hear it when I get all my pictures from my photographer.

For now, you get one picture. Just one. Feel lucky because I haven't posted ANY of my pictures ANYWHERE yet. Shhh.. (it's actually two pictures so feel even more special)

Oh, and while we're on the topic of my wedding...

100 days left. Can you believe it? I want it to go by faaast so he can be my eternal companion already!! But at the same time, I'm like "SLOW DOWN". It feels like there's so much to do still!

Heavenly Father has definitely blessed us during this wedding planning in SO many ways though. My biggest concerns were the temple, photographer, videographer, and finding a backyard to hold our reception. I was afraid my family would be against the whole temple marriage but they're surprisingly SO supportive! After giving up on finding an outdoor area, we were offered a cute backyard not long after. We found a great and affordable photographer who Alyssa referred me to. We originally planned to not hire a videographer due to financial situation... I was going to assign certain (creative) people to film my wedding day and I'd edit them myself but then I stumbled upon Bri's affordable prices. She was right there under my nose the whole time!

It's great because I met Alyssa and Bri through the "Waiting for a Missionary" Facebook group. If I hadn't joined the group, I definitely would not be where I am today!
